Free Motorcycle Touring Routes – Picos De Europa Spain

On this page, you will find our free motorcycle touring routes of the Picos de Europa region of Spain and don’t let the photo put you off.

One of our many tours of the Picos de Europa was in early March, and we kept going into the mountains as the roads were clear, despite the snow on the roadsides.

The routes are loops are based around the Hotel Infantado just north of the town of Potes in the Picos de Europa region of Spain. The hotel is popular with bikers, has a large car park and a petrol station nearby.

On the downside, the hotel isn’t the most central, so evening meals can involve a ride into town. The restaurant attached to the hotel is very good, just not the most cost-effective solution for a bunch of hungry motorcyclists.

If you are an early riser and like your coffee, you might want to consider taking a portable kettle and some supplies.

When importing GPX files, your GPS or Phone navigation app will recalulate the route based on your navigation preferences. We add waypoints to hopefully minimise any differences, but it is always worth double-checking.
