The Lincolnshire 100 is a free 100-mile (106.61 to be exact) route through some of the best motorcycling roads in Lincolnshire.
There are numerous other roads we could have included – Lincolnshire is a large county – but we went with a route that had an easy-to-find meeting point, with fuel and coffee. A route that has something for everyone, and a route that ends somewhere every motorcyclist will enjoy visiting.

To create the free Lincolnshire 100 route, we combined some of our favourite Sunday scratches into a 100-mile route starting at the Starbucks close to the City of Lincoln bypass.
For a warm-up, the route heads north on the A46, away from Lincoln, past the Regional Police HQ, through Market Rasen and to the town of Caistor.
Almost every motorcyclist in Lincolnshire knows of the Caistor High Street (B1225). Don’t be deceived by the name; the B1225 is 20 miles of motorcycling joy, ending just north of Horncastle. The first 10 miles – in the opposite direction – are in the video below.
After the fast-flowing Caistor Road, comes the technical twisting turning section, known locally as the Bardney Bends. Officially designated the B1190 and the B1202, the 16-mile section, is a popular Sunday scratching route. Watch your speed in the villages. Not everyone is a motorcyclist, and white vans with cameras are a popular addition to the countryside.
Next comes the Wragby Road (A158), a fast-flowing road that loops you back through Horncastle, where you are taking the B1183, A155, A153 and the B1395 south until you meet the A17.
A relaxing 5 miles on the A17 later, you are turning left at Bicker Bar and heading for Blackjack Road to Kirton and SportsBikeShop, where you will find the best coffee machine in Lincolnshire and only 50p.
